The largest island in the archipelago is considered by many to be the most beautiful. Home to one of Washington's largest state parks (Moran Park) and to the San Juans highest point (Mount Constitution), Orcas is a nature-lover's paradise. Be prepared, though, the island is long, large (56.9 square miles) and very hilly, so plan a full day to see all of the sights.
Rosario Resort in East Sound is a mansion that has been converted to a luxury resort and spa.
